Puncak Penulisan Temple Bali, located at the top of the Penulisan hill, Sukawana Village, Kintamani, Bangli with an altitude of 1745 from sea level, about 3 km from Kintamani tourist attraction, is a very old temple that has even existed since the Megalithic era.
Puncak Penulisan Temple is a temple for the original Balinese (Bali Aga). In the sense that this temple was built since the existence of the original Hindu society in Bali and has not been influenced by Hinduism from outside Bali such as the influence of Hinduism from the Majapahit Kingdom.
Another name of this temple is Pura Tegeh Koripan which means a place of life that is firm and high. Or also called Pamojan (Arrow King) Temple, and also known as Padelengan Ukir Temple.
The shape of the temple building is very unique and has a very high historical value. The structure of the building is made by carrying out the concept of the Holy Mountain, which resembles the shape of a hill or terraced pyramid. And the seven-story temple is a form of the Sapta Loka concept where each level is connected by stairs.
